Drop Weight Test Calibration Equipment

The drop weight test calibration equipment is mainly composed of rectangular steel pipes connected by bolts, with an overall height of 3m. Conduct the test by raising the object from the falling impactor to the specified height. Release the impactor through an electromagnetic release system, which guides the falling direction through two steel wire ropes. When the impactor impacts the rib module, the linear potentiometer installed inside the rib module can measure the peak displacement. A 7.78 c

Purpose and Function

Can be used for side impact ES-2 dummy rib calibration test, meeting NHTSA, 49CFR PART572, SAE, JJF and other requirements.
