he Q series is a new children's series of dummies launched after the P series. The new generation of dummies has better anthropometric, biomechanical, and kinematic characteristics, which can better evaluate the risk of injury to child passengers of different ages and body types. Dummies are suitable for CRS evaluation in both frontal and side impacts, meeting the dual purposes of consumer evaluation and research. Dummies can be equipped with acceleration sensors, force sensors, etc., and some
结构:
Head--The head is largely made from synthetics. The head cavity is large enough to allow use of severalinstruments, including linear accelerometers and angular velocity sensors.
Thorax--Composed of polyurethane skeleton and PVC skin. The displacement of the chest is measured by a wire sensor. The flexible shoulders are connected to the chest, allowing for some deformation. The accelerometer is installed on the thoracic spine to measure linear acceleration.
Abdomen--The abdomen is covered with PVC skin and filled with foam,Biomechanical data from children has been used todetermine the required stiffness.
Lumbar spine--The lumbar spine is composed of a flexible rubber column and a steel cable, which allows shear and bending in all directions. A six-channel load cell can be mounted between the lumbar spine and the pelvis.
Pelvis --The Q-dummy pelvis has removable hip joints. An accelerometer array can be mounted in thepelvis. Special hip joints are available that allow the hip joint to be locked for out of positiontesting by removing a spacer. These can allow the dummy to stand if supported.
Arms--The arm consists of two parts, the upper and lower arms, connected by the elbow joint. The shoulder joint is a spherical structure that allows for free rotation within a certain range.
Legs--The knee joints can be locked in any position. External support can be used to keep the dummy in a standing position.

--Child restraint system (CRS) testing: including European ECE R44 and US FMVSS 213 regulations. The Q-series dummy is designed to replace the P-series dummy used in the CRS evaluation criteria.
--EuroNCAP test: The design of the dummy can withstand impacts that reach speeds close to the average level of EuroNCAP.
--NPACS testing: The New Program for Evaluating Child Restraint Systems (NPACS) protocol calls the Q-series frontal and side collision consumer testing program for CRS performance rating 4.
--Misalignment Test (OOP), including airbag interaction.
--ISO side impact program.
--GB27887 Standard Test for Restraint Systems for Child Occupants of Motor Vehicles.
The Q-series dummy is a children's series dummy launched after the P-series dummy. Compared to the P series dummy, the biomechanical characteristics of the Q series dummy have been improved, based on the dummy response defined by the biomechanical information response curves of children and scaled down adults. This series of dummies can be equipped with acceleration sensors, angular velocity sensors, force sensors, displacement sensors, etc., to evaluate the damage suffered by the dummy in various situations.
In order to make the child dummy easy to install and disassemble, SF Company has optimized the dummy structure to ensure that the dummy can be quickly disassembled and assembled, and to minimize the impact of sensors on the dummy's motion characteristics, protecting the integrity of sensors and cables inside the dummy.
